PULI movie is actually considered to be made with vijay.but,sutyah refused some changes in story that vijay wanted and the movie was dropped off.
Then suryah came with the subject to PAWAN and PAWAN finalized the script.

ONE IS ASSISTANT COMMISSIONAR OF POLICE & THE OTHER ONE IS GOOD HEARTED HAPPY GOING THIEF.

In recent interview suryah said,"this is my dream project and i never want to compromise regarding this subject.for this reason only i quit the offer in tamil.Definitely
this movie will lure pawan fans"
Suryah added that he would be acting as hero in 'Puli'’s Tamil version.

AR REHMAN roped into this project and he will be paid a whooping of 2 cr for his composition of music.
BINOD PRADHAN also making debut into south indian films as cinematographer with PULI.earlier ravi k chandran was considered,but,now its BINOD PRADHAN.

THE MOVIE IS BEING PRODUCED BY SINGANAMALA RAMESH BABU UNDER KANAKARATHNA MOVIES BANNER.THE BUDGET OF THIS MOVIE IS EXPECTED TO BE A WHOOPING OF 35CRORES.PAWAN IS PAID WITH 8CRORES FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER
