Pawan Kalyan to remake Love Aj Kal

The Bollywood film Love Aaj Kal with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead was a big hit all over India. It is reliably learnt that Pawan Kalyan had agreed to play hero in its remake under the direction of Vijayabhaskar to be produced by popular comedian Ganesh.


Buzz up!Another interesting point here is that Trivikram Srinivas agreed to pen dialogues for this movie. There were many hit films which came in this combination. As the director and the dialogue writer bringing out films separately with the latter turning a director, the success graph of both of them started tumbling down. Now that Trivikram is working for Maheshbabu and Pawan Kalyan is busy with Komaram Puli under SJ Surya’s direction. Both the shootings are yet to wrap up. However, the producer is making efforts to formally launch the film on March 29

Latest: Komuram Puli shooting completed

The shooting of Pawan Kalyan's Komaram Puli, directed by S.J. Suryah, is complete except three songs, producer Singanamala Ramesh informed. The makers are now planning to release the movie in the last week of April. Nikisha Patel, who is making her debut in Telugu, is the heroine. Oscar winner A.R. Rehman is scoring music.

The film has Pawan Kalyan playing the role of a cop. Notably, Komaram is the surname of the Gond martyr Komaram Bheem, who fought against the erstwhile Asaf Jahi dynasty for the liberation of Hyderabad State. FICUS recently obtained the Canada theatrical rights of Komaram Puli, produced under the banner of Kanaka Ratna Movies.

Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a cop in the movie. Nikisha Patel, who is making her debut in Telugu Cinema, is
playing the lead female role. The other star cast of the movie includes Manoj Bajpai, Charan Raj, Nassar, Jyothi
Krishna, Saranya, Brahmaji, Ali, V M C Haneefa and Girish Karnad.

Oscar recipient A R Rehman is scoring music.

Puli directed by S.J. Surya who previously directed Khushi with Pawan Kalyan which was a blockbuster. Komaram is
taken from the surname of the Gond martyr Komaram Bheem who fought against the erstwhile Asaf Jahi dynasty for the
