A.R Rahman will be composing music for Pawan Kalyan starrer Puli movie. This movie is being directed by our very own S.J Suryah.
He has promised to compose and finish the songs by 2009. Pawan Kalyan will start with this S.J Suryah movie after he completes Jalsa and an home production in which he is acting as a hero too. S.J Suryah also has a couple of movies to finish including Vil in which he acts as a hero.
It is rumoured that a whopping amount was paid to Rahman to compose the music for this film. It is also said that the producer of Puli is willing to go upto Rs. 35 crore as far the films total budget is concerned.

Pawan Kalyan (born September 2, 1971 is a popular Indian (Telugu) film star. He is fondly called Power Star by his fans. His birth name is Konidala Kalyan. He is younger brother to popular Telugu actor, Chiranjeevi and producer Naga Babu.

Personal Life
Pawan Kalyan first got married to Nandini, after some time they both got separated but never divorced due to personal reasons. Pawan Kalyan then fell in love with Renu Desai who was his co-star in the movie Badri and married her.The couple have a son named Akira Nandan, named after his favourite director Akira Kurosawa.Pawan was previously involved with Paritala Ravindra on a few real estate issues.He is significantly mellowed these days after a string of flops.
Early career
Pawan Kalyan entered Telugu movie industry with the movie Akkada Abbai Ikkada Ammayi as Kalyan Babu. This film did not do well at the box office. However, he was noticed for the best of his Martial Arts.
After his first movie, his second movie Gokulamlo Sita was an average flick but his next movies like Suswagatham, Tholi Prema, Thammudu, Badri, and Kushi went on to become hits which earned him a great reputation in Tollywood. Kushi was a trend setter and was received well both commercially and critically. He even directed few song sequences and fight sequences in the film Kushi.He directed his next movie Johnny that came after 4 years disappointed the audience very much. His next flicks have been average and did not evoke the same response as his earlier films.
Social Work
Pawan has started an organisation called Common Man Protection Force in October 2007. He has contributed 1 crore INR towards the corpus fund, CMPF aims to solve the social problems, help the neglected sections of the society. Its area of operations is in India. He intends to do it through organised militia, and seems to have got carried away with the ideals of Gudumba Shankar. CMPF targets child prostitution, Flourosis afflicted areas initially. News is spread that CMPF is changed to Common Protection force.
