Power star Pawan kalyan is presently taking his lessons in the police academy of Hyderabad. Though the second heroine for this film has been finalized as Parvathi Melton, still the hunt for the lead lady is going on. At first Kareena kapoor was zeroed in, but due to her prior commitments she denied the offer. Then it was rumored that Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra has accepted the offer. But this news also was proved wrong when confirmed. Then all eyes were on Sneha Ullal who resembles Aishwarya Rai in some poses. Her latest price hike was also confirmed to be signed for a big star movie. But according To Pawan he is eyeing the milky white babe Tamannah presently. He is sure that, she will accept his offer of being a lead lady in his film. But he is still in a dilemma to go for a bollywood star or settle with a south Indian beauty.
But if at all Tamannah gets the chance to act with Pawan then she will zoom into the top slot of Ileana in tollywood as already she has become a hot star in Kollywood when she was signed for a film opposite Surya.

Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra with Pawan Kalyan in Puli?

Kushi combination Pawan Kalyan and SJ Surya are totally engaged in the pre-production work of Puli, says sources. Even though there is a buzz in the industry that the film might be a bit delayed, pre-production work seems to be going underwraps. AR Rehman is composing music for this film and already 2 tunes are finalized. Guhan will handle the camera. The latest in the news is that Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is approached for playing the lead opposite Pawan Kalyan in the film. As per the sources, even a photo session is arranged in the 1st week of June. Also, on the other hand, Pawan Kalyan is totally focussed on the roles he will be doing in the film. It is heard that he is trying several variations for the two roles. One of the roles is police officer and Pawan spent some time at the police academy for this.

Jalsa 50 days collection Records

For the first time in the history of south Indian cinema, ‘Jalsa’ was released in 1,000 screens across the world. It is the first Telugu film which had successfully completing 50 days in 282 centres, which is a record in Tollywood. It is the one and only Telugu film which had collected over Rs 42 crore in 50 days.

This figure proves the stamina of the Telugu film, at international level. One more interesting point to be noted here is that ‘Jalsa’ is the only film which had completed 50 days successfully in 21 centres in Krishna district alone and is getting record collections, which is an unbeatable record for the Krishna district. The film is the biggest-ever grosser in the 76-year-old Telugu film history.

Pawan`s `Puli` doubtful! May be delayed

Pawan Kalyan who has hit the bull’s eye with Jalsa has already confirmed his next film ‘Puli’ with Kushi director SJ Surya under Singanamala Ramesh’s banner.
The film is supposed to go to floors in the month of June but if the buzz is to be believed it might get delayed further. The reason for this is Chiranjeevi’s political entry it seems. Chiranjeevi is all set to announce his political party very soon and his doting brother wants to stay by the side of him in the campaigning.
Hence, Pawan Kalyan may not be available most of the time for the shooting, and thus he is thinking to delay the project until he gets free, says film nagar circles. Even if the project takes off it is obvious that Pawan will not be concentrating on the shooting process when his elder brother is busy with the canvassing. Starts rolling or doesn't start rolling, Puli is doubtful to complete the shoot within the expected schedule. This is not so good news for Pawan's diehard fans that were desperate to watch their matinee idol as a powerful cop.

BINODH PARDHAN'S will be camera man for "pawan's PULI"

Renowned cinematographer and National award winner in BOLLYWOOD Binod Pradhan has been roped in for Pawan Kayan's soon-to-be launched film - PULI.
Director S J Surya plans this film in grand scale as it is his dream project and he is roping in best of talents in India with A R Rehman acting as music director. Binod Pradhan who is a very big name in Bollywood worked for rang de basanti, 1942 Love Story, Devadas, Parineeta, etc.
This is Binod Pradhan's debut movie in South Indian films.
Pawan Kalyan plays dual role in it.
For one character (a cop), Pawan Kalyan has already trimmed his air and developed heavy moustache.
The film is produced by Singanmala Ramesh and will begin its shooting by end of this month.

Three Heroines Finalized for Puli

Pavan Kalyan is getting ready to star for his next flick under direction of S J Surya for which producer would be Singamala Ramesh, heroines for this flick is almost finalized who happen to be Kareena Kapoor, Hansika and Parvathi Melton. Puli Will Be An Action Thriller-Pawan Kalyan

Power star Pawan Kalyan has confirmed that his next film PULI under the banner of Sri Surya movies will be an action packed comedy thriller. He also added that his dual role in the film will be very much liked by the youth. He also brushed aside the rumors which are mingling in the media that Kareena Kapoor will be roped in to play one of the female leads in the movie. But said that he has a unfulfilled desire to act with the sexy and gorgeous beauty Kareena Kapoor.

Again he confirmed that he has not proposed nor even given any kind of diamond gift to anyone. On his political entry Pawan diplomatically said that he will not enter into politics directly, but will be behind his brother and will always be ready to render his help. Pawan also took the opportunity to speak about his faded Common man’s force.

When he was projected with a question that is the force still alive and is it going to exist forever, Pawan replied that the force is still prevailing and has already helped almost 15 people so far. But the fact is, when a women socialite approached the so called common man’s force, she was denied of any kind of help as the kind of help she was asking was against his brother’s dignity.

But according to reliable sources his brother in law has taken almost 3.5 crores from Bellamkonda Suresh and has committed that Pawan would act in his project first and then in PULI. Pawan Kalyan's 'Puli' begins shoot

Pawan Kalyan's Puli has begun its shooting. On May Day, the film's shoot has commenced. Directed by S J Surya, the film has Pawan Kalyan in dual roles. After seven years, the super hit combination of S J Surya and Pawan is repeating. Their last film Khushi was trendsetter and it made Pawan a youth icon then.

In Puli, Pawan Kalyan plays cop and he also changed his hair-do accordingly. Heroine has not yet been finalized though. Singanamala Ramesh is the producer.

Puli Script ready Class Vs Mass

Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa is gearing up to release on 28th of this month with more than 400 prints. There is lot of positive talk about the film. It was even commented in Jalsa audio release function that even if Pawan delivers a small hit, the range would be untouchable. However, the industry circle feels that the film might hit the bulls eye. Even though all eyes are set on Jalsa, stage is getting ready for Pawan's next film.

Power Star Pavan kalyan's Jalsa creating wonders at Box office

With no competition in sight coupled by the movie’s craze and summer season, Jalsa’s doesn’t budge from the top spot at boxoffice. Reports from Sify from Chennai state that the movie which opened with 6 screens claimed the number two spot in the city. Says Meenakshi Sundaram of Mayajaal: "For the first time for a non Tamil film we are having six shows daily, due to the pressure for tickets." The movie is still going housefuls in Movieland and PVR Kormangla in Bangalore.
In Hyderabad too, the movie is strong in collections with the drastic reduction in theatres. Instead of getting similar gross and lower shares by having more theatres, the distributors reduced the screen count to get higher shares from each screen. The movie reached the 8-crore share mark in Nizam territory, 3.75 crores away from being the highest grosser in that circuit. In the second week in Utthara Andhra, the movie collected nearly 1 crore sharing, taking its two week total gross to 2.75 crore and share to 2.35 crores. The two weeks share in Guntur is 1.66 crores. The movie amassed a share of 1.52 crores for the second week in Krishna district. Inspite of mixed reviews, the movie had a very strong opening from the first weekend itself in the overseas territory.
